Sunday Ribbed Scarf

If you need a quick idea for a last minute gift, crochet this Sunday Ribbed Scarf.  I hooked this up in really just a few hours on a quiet Sunday afternoon.  I had been wanted to design something using half double crochet for a while now.  It's not my favorite stitch, but when I held a poll in our Stitch Social Group, it was by far the favorite stitch of the crocheters.

The entire scarf is worked in the back loop only to create the ribbed texture of this warm scarf.  It is also quiet fashionable as it gives the appearance of a cowl neckline, with slim tails on either side.  You could embellish your scarf if you have a second Cake with pom poms or tassels if you desire.  The finished size is 12" by 80".
